- Beginners & first-time racers, youths moving up

4x4 QUAD CLASSES
IMPORTANT NOTES:
* Ages 15–17 restricted to 450cc max (NORA MOTORSPORT rules)
450cc 4x4 may be raced by 15 + years but only in the 4x4 light class.
* 4X4 750cc + CLASSES 0VER 17s ONLY.
* Additional Ladies & over 40’s Class.

YOUTH CLASS
Riders age on the 1st of March will determine which class a rider is permitted to complete full season.
YOUTH CLASS PROGRESSION
125cc → 250cc → 250 Hybrid
250cc YOUTH OPEN (12–16)
- Hybrid quads (250cc engines in 450cc chassis)
- Air or water cooled
- Number board yellow background with black numbers
250cc Class
- Air cooled production quads (maximum 200cc 2 stroke or 250cc 4stroke)
- Frame and engine must be by original manufacturer
- Yellow background black numbers
125cc YOUTH (8–13 yrs)
- Manual gears allowed, YAMAHA RAPTOR 125. Mods allowed but frame and engine must be original Yamaha raptor 125
- More advanced riding skills
- Preparation for Youth 250 class
- Number board – blue background white numbers
MINI QUAD CLASSES
50cc MINI (5–9 yrs)
- Beginner-friendly class
- Max 50cc engine must be original frame and engine
- Focus on control and confidence
- Green number board white numbers
90cc MINI (5-9 yrs)
- 80-90cc 4 stroke must be original frame and engine. No Mods.
- Green number board white numbers
100cc MINI (8-13years)
- Auto quad, 100cc production quads built by the manufacturers
- Blue number board white numbers
MINI CLASS PROGRESSION
50cc → 90cc → 100cc →Youth class
If Your Child Is Too Young for the Engine/Class
*Contact the club secretary, we may allow this BUT only with prior approval
You will need:
- Proven riding ability/experience
- Parental consent
- Clerk of the Course sign-off (your child will be asked to complete the sighting lap under the supervision of the clerk of the course) he will then decide if your child is safe and competent to compete.

• The safest and most common route:
Mini → Youth → Adult classes
• Helps build race craft before moving to faster machines
🔢 Number Boards & rider Numbers
• Numbers must be clear, legible, and visible at all times
• No duplicate numbers within the same class
• Riders must use their allocated race number for the full season
• Number boards gives marshals a physical way of knowing who you are in case of an incident or accident on track. They also help with timings in case we have a technical error and need to manually time.
