Never raced before and not sure where to start?
Whether you are an adult who has never raced before, or a parent wanting to get their child into racing, here is some information to help.
Firstly go to our race class page and choose a class to suit your ability or age. All age limits and machine limits are explained for your information.
The machine must have an engine kill switch.
THE QUAD
You must also have a "fin style" number board on the rear of your quad. The brackets are available to buy over the phone from our sponsors at Guy Machinery 01200 445555 where the parts department will be happy to assist. https://www.guymachinery.co.uk
Number boards with the correct stickered colour background and number stickers are needed. We usually have a small amount of boards and stickers available to purchase at signing on.

THE RIDER
You must have a suitable helmet with no damage.
Goggles for your eyes. We suggest having at least three pairs for an adult incase of wet muddy weather. Guy Machinery stock all the latest RipNRoll goggles at competitive prices.
Neck braces are not mandatory however we recommend using one!
Gloves, as with goggles we recommend you have some spare pairs for muddy wet tracks.
Race jersey and pants. There is always a great selection of second hand things on eBay. Guy Machinery stock Wulf Sport, Leatt and Can-Am race kits too.
MX boots. These must be fully working with no parts missing. Again there are always bargains on eBay.
MEMBERSHIPS
You do not need to be a member to race, just enter as a non member.
Benefits to being a member means your race entries are cheaper, you have a set rider number all season and you score points toward the British Championship.
LICENCE
You can not ride without a licence. You can either buy a day licence (£15.00 per race ) when you enter online or you can buy an annual licence from Nora92. Buying an annual licence is much better value for money and makes booking on so much easier for yourself. The link is below.
